It’s Wild Card Weekend in the National Football League, and the first of our four games this weekend comes to us from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. The AFC West champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, will play host to the 4/5 matchup as they welcome in the Tennessee Titans.
The Chiefs have had a bit of a weird season. They got off to a super-hot 5-0 start, but then came crashing back down and eventually found themselves at 6-6. Then they finished the season strong with four straight victories to lock up their divisional crown.
The Titans come into the postseason on a bit of a skid. They did win their final game against the Jacksonville Jaguars to secure a spot in the postseason party, but dropped their previous three games leading up to that one. They’ll be without star running back DeMarco Murray for this one as well.
This game kicks off at around 3:30 PM Central time, and will be shown on ESPN/ABC.
Enjoy the first Wild Card game, folks, and we’ll be back with a separate open thread for tonight’s NFC matchup that I know Vikings fans will be very interested in.
