It’s Thorsday!

Minnesota Vikings v Philadelphia Eagles

Good Morning!

Hope your work week is going well, I have some more time off before I go back to work. If you or your loved ones are affected by Hurricane Michael I hope you/they are safe, in times like these we should all remember what is really important to each of us. In the meantime, while we’re waiting for the next Vikings game to start we’ll continue with our open thread full of beer and rib recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Have another cup of coffee and drop by for some fan wisdom and snark. With that, let’s do this.

Around the DN since our last thread:

The Vikings’ WR Adam Thielen is unstoppable so far this season writes Skelly10.

Ted and Luft have the latest edition of Good Morning Gjallahorn Ep 22 (In The Raw).

Finally Arif has Norse Code Podcast Episode 250: Ugly But Useful.

Vikings news from other sources:

We come to today’s media selection: Autograph-Turn Up the Radio

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
