We are just ninety minutes from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, and both the Minnesota Vikings and Arizona Cardinals have released their inactive lists for today’s contest. Let’s see who will be sitting this one out for both sides, starting with the visitors.
Arizona Cardinals
- QB Sam Bradford
- OT Blaine Clausell
- OT Korey Cunningham
- RB T.J. Logan
- DT Ifeadi Odenigbo
- WR Trent Sherfield
- WR Kendall Wright
The Cardinals will have their entire starting offensive line active for this one, as D.J. Humphries, Mike Iupati, and Andre Smith are all active and will start. All were listed as questionable on the Cardinals’ final injury report. Also, this won’t be the “revenge game” that a few members of the Vikings were hoping for, as Bradford, Odenigbo, and Wright will all be sitting this one out.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
- DE Tashawn Bower
- RB Dalvin Cook
- LB Devante Downs
- DE Everson Griffen
- OT Riley Reiff
- S Andrew Sendejo
- QB Kyle Sloter
With Reiff out, Rashod Hill gets the start at left tackle today, while rookie Brian O’Neill will make his first ever NFL start on the right side. Contrary to what we mentioned last night, Dalvin Cook is inactive and will not play today after his hamstring issue acted up during pregame warmups. In addition, George Iloka has officially been penciled in as the starter at safety in Sendejo’s place.
The Open Thread for the first quarter of play will be up and running at 11:00 AM Central time, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll see you there!
