Yesterday it was announced first round pick Mike Hughes would be going on Injured Reserve after tearing his ACL against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.
The Vikings made that official a little while ago, and added DT David Parry to take his place:
The #Vikings have signed DT @DavidParry58 and placed @_Bigmikee1 on IR.

If you remember, Parry had a sack of Aaron Rodgers in week two during the Vikings 29-29 tie with the Packers. For his efforts, he was released when the Vikings surprisingly signed old friend Tom Johnson, after he was a surprise release by the Seattle Seahawks.
But the Vikings weren’t finished, as they also made a move with the practice squad as well:
The #Vikings have also signed CB Craig James to the practice squad and released CB Jalen Myrick from the practice squad.

James was with the Vikings in training camp, but was released when the team had to get down to 53 players.
So, Hughes to IR, welcome back David Parry and Craig James (who totally did not kill five hookers at SMU), and good luck to Jalen Myrick.
