Good Morning!

Hope the end of your work week is going well, I’m in the middle of a four day stretch so words and links will be limited for the next couple of days. In the meantime, while we’re waiting for the next Vikings game to start we’ll continue with our Open Thread full of beer and rib recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Have another cup of coffee and drop by for some fan wisdom and snark. With that, let’s do this.

Around the DN since our last thread:

Chris and Eric have a spot where you can keep up with all Vikings - Jets news.

Adam Thielen doesn’t worry about his stats, he wants to win per Skelly10.

Chris has your Thursday Vikings injury report, significantly Danielle Hunter and Dalvin Cook sat practice out.

Your weekly FanPulse survey with increasing confidence among NFC North fans from Chris.

What is the fantasy value of the Vikings backfield from mzahorskyh105. It better be good, I’m starting Murray this weekend.

Ted ponders whether this Sunday’s game is ‘do or die’ for the Vikings?

Eric’s weekly game preview article, this week: Vikings at Jets: New York! New York?
While you’re there check out the GPOTW!

From the Ringer, The Eight Best Players of the 2018 NFL Season So Far.

Vikings news from other sources:

From Vikings.com On this week’s ‘Winning Formula’ segment, the crew are joined by diehard Vikings fan and comedian Cy Amundson, who also hosts “SportsCenter on Snapchat” for ESPN, to discuss if Danielle Hunter is undervalued by fans and those who follow the team, what offensive contributor has been undervalued so far.

Notebook: Vikings do best to prep for ‘unpredictable’ aspects of rookie Sam Darnold.

Presser Points: DeFillippo on Murray, Edwards on Darnold, Priefer on Jets special teams.

Expert Picks: Vikings look to make it 3 in a row in New York. Couple of “experts” need to re-look their pick.

Courtney Cronin at the espn NFC North blog writes Better together: Cousins, Thielen emerge as NFL’s top QB-WR duo.

League news:

Last night the Broncos beat down the Cardinals by a score of 45-10.

We come to today’s media selection: Pink Floyd - Welcome to the Machine
