Earlier, when we did our post about the signing of offensive lineman Landon Turner to the practice squad, we noted that the Vikings still had one space available on that ten-man crew. It appears as though the vacancy will shortly be filled, and by a guy that a lot of us were surprised to see leave Minnesota in the first place.
According to the Instagram story that he posted today, defensive lineman Ifeadi Odenigbo is back in the Twin Cities as of an hour ago, and will apparently be re-joining the Vikings’ practice squad.

Odenigbo had a very good preseason for the Vikings this year, spending time at both defensive end and defensive tackle, and a lot of people. . .myself included. . .were very surprised when he was among the Vikings’ final cuts.
He was immediately scooped up by the Cleveland Browns, who had #1 priority on waiver claims following final cuts, but was released by the Browns on 22 September. Just two days later, he was snatched up by the Arizona Cardinals, but was waived on 23 October. He appeared in one game for Arizona, picking up one tackle.
Odenigbo was a seventh-round pick of the Vikings out of Northwestern in the 2017 NFL Draft, and spent the entire 2017 season on the Minnesota practice squad.
Welcome (back) to Minnesota, Ifeadi Odenigbo!
(Props to the folks from the Minnesota Vikings Reddit on making this discovery first.)
