With their final injury report for their game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday just having been released, the Philadelphia Eagles will be down a pass rusher when the two teams line up at Lincoln Financial Field.
Defensive end Derek Barnett, who had a game-changing strip-sack of Case Keenum in last year’s NFC Championship Game, will be out of this game with a shoulder injury. He did not practice all week with the ailment, and will not suit up on Sunday.
Also “out” for the Eagles is veteran running back/return specialist Darren Sproles, who will miss this one with a hamstring injury.
The Eagles also listed two players as “questionable.” Running back Corey Clement did not practice all week with a quadriceps issue, but is still listed as questionable, while defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was limited in practice this week with a calf injury.
Three veteran players for the Eagles. . .defensive tackle Fletcher Cox (ankle), wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (chest), and offensive tackle Jason Peters (quadricep). . .are listed on the injury report, but were not given an injury designation, meaning that they are a full go for Sunday.
The full injury report for the Eagles is below. We’ll have more on this Sunday’s contest as we get closer to kickoff.
