The list of Minnesota Vikings injuries has been lengthy as of late. And while it doesn’t look like it is letting up, a few names stand out as promising.

Having Riley Reiff, Linval Joseph, and Dalvin Cook on limited participation is good. Friday’s practice will be the biggest test for them, but even baby steps to having these players back is a good sign.
Courtney Cronin of ESPN spoke with Dalvin Cook about his lingering hamstring injury and sitting out the time he has. “Very, very important. I think with these things, if you kind of stepping on it and keep doing what you’re doing, you’re going to keep lingering it on. You kind of need to shut the body down...”
While he did not practice Wednesday or Thursday, Stefon Diggs did speak to Chris Tomasson from the Pioneer Press early Thursday and said he felt he could be ready to play against division rivals the Detroit Lions.
Courtney Cronin did address on her twitter account that movement is good with rib injuries, but how he handles falling to the ground will to be key.
No Diggs again today. He was moving around a bit during individuals, tossing the football to his receivers, which is usually an encouraging sign for someone w/ a rib injury. But depending on how bad it really is will determine if he can handle falling to ground in a game. https://t.co/5MO6cfHMDB
