Just like everybody* predicted, the first meeting between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears in the 2018 season is for first place in the NFC North. Chicago holds a half-game lead over Minnesota after nine games. At 6-3, Chicago has already guaranteed at least a tie for their best record in five years and is looking for their first playoff berth since 2010. It is the second of three straight divisional games for both Chicago and Minnesota; the Bears visit Detroit for Thanksgiving while the Vikings host the Packers next Sunday night.
(*=Nobody predicted this.)
Thanks to the Vikings being on the bye last week, both teams are coming off decisive home victories over the Detroit Lions. The Vikings dispatched Detroit by a score of 24-9 in Week 9 while the Bears leveled the Lions 34-22 in Week 10.
The game is set for a 7:20 PM Central time kickoff from Soldier Field on Sunday night on NBC. Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth, and Michele Tafoya will be calling the game.
