NFL Pro Bowl voting is officially underway

Vote to send your favorite Vikings to Orlando!

NFL: Pro Bowl-NFC vs AFC Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

It’s that time of the year where we as NFL fans get an opportunity to decide who. . .if anyone. . .represents the Minnesota Vikings (and 31 other less important teams) in the upcoming Pro Bowl.

You can officially cast your votes online for your favorite players at NFL.com, and you can vote for numerous players at different positions, such as up to six votes for quarterback. That doesn’t mean that you can vote for Kirk Cousins six times. . .though it would be awesome if you could.

I understand that fans, generally, don’t give a damn about the actual Pro Bowl game itself, outside of the fact that it’s one of the last opportunities to watch the game we love each year before the season officially ends. However, a lot of players have incentives in their contracts tied to these sorts of things, and there’s nothing wrong with potentially helping them get there.

Here are all the Vikings that are on the ballot, sorted by position:

Quarterback - Kirk Cousins

Running back - Dalvin Cook, Latavius Murray

Wide receiver - Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen

Fullback - C.J. Ham (YES, C.J. HAM FOR THE PRO BOWL, DAMN IT, LET’S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!)

Tight end - Kyle Rudolph

Offensive tackle - Brian O’Neill, Riley Reiff

Guard - Tom Compton, Mike Remmers

Center - Pat Elflein

Defensive end - Everson Griffen, Danielle Hunter

Defensive tackle - Linval Joseph, Sheldon Richardson

Inside linebacker - Eric Kendricks

Outside linebacker - Anthony Barr, Ben Gedeon

Cornerback - Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes

Strong safety - Andrew Sendejo

Free safety - Harrison Smith

Kicker - Dan Bailey

Return specialist - Marcus Sherels

Punter - Matt Wile

Special teams - Jayron Kearse

You can also vote via the Twitters, if you have an account. Here are the rules behind that.
