Again, good news and bad news

We’ve got a couple of updates to the Minnesota Vikings’ injury report for you, and just like yesterday, we’ve got some good news and some bad news.

The good news is that there were only two Vikings that did not practice on Thursday. They were tight end David Morgan and safety Andrew Sendejo. That means that, for the first time in several weeks, linebacker Anthony Barr was practicing for the Vikings again. Barr has missed the past few games with a hamstring issue and did not practice on Wednesday, but was a limited participant in practice on Thursday.

Wide receiver Adam Thielen was also limited again with his “low back/calf” issue, while guard Mike Remmers (low back) and cornerback Xavier Rhodes (foot) were limited as well.

There were two new additions to the injury report on Thursday in wide receiver Chad Beebe (abdomen) and defensive end Everson Griffen (toe) were on today’s list. Both of them were full participants in practice, though.

Here is the full breakdown of the Vikings’ injury report for Thursday.

Did not practice: TE David Morgan (knee), S Andrew Sendejo (groin)

Limited participation: LB Anthony Barr (hamstring), G Tom Compton (knee), G Mike Remmers (low back), CB Xavier Rhodes (foot), WR Adam Thielen (low back/calf)

Full participation: WR Chad Beebe (abdomen), WR Stefon Diggs (rib), DE Everson Griffen (toe), DT Linval Joseph (ankle/shoulder)

Both teams will release their final injury reports tomorrow, and we’ll have those for you here as soon as they’re available.
