NFL Week 11 Non-Vikings Discussion

While we’re waiting, we could just as well watch the rest of the league, eh?

NFL: Carolina Panthers at Pittsburgh Steelers Phillip G. Pavely-USA TODAY Sports

We’ve finally reached game day for Week 11 of NFL action, ladies and gentlemen. As we know, the Minnesota Vikings will have to wait all day for Sunday Night, as they’ll be taking on the Chicago Bears on NBC at about 7:20 PM Central time this evening. So, for the second week in a row. . .much like the three weeks that will follow this one. . .that can only mean one thing.

It’s yet another RED ZONE SUNDAY here at The Daily Norseman! Yes, we can just sit back, relax, and watch the rest of the league as we get ready for the purple to take the field.

There isn’t a lot of NFC North action to be had before tonight’s game. The Green Bay Packers have already lost this week, as they fell to the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday Night Football a couple of days ago. The only other NFC North team, the Detroit Lions, will be hosting the Carolina Panthers as a part of this week’s early slate of games.

Here’s the full list of games for Week 11 of the 2018 NFL season. If, for whatever reason, you haven’t been blessed with the Red Zone Channel and need to find what games are on in your area, check out the map from 506 Sports.

The Monday Night game this week should be a good one, as it will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles Rams in a game that was supposed to be played in Mexico City but was moved back to Los Angeles because the field in Mexico City was apparently a complete disaster. The Rams and Chiefs will also be the last two teams in the NFL to take their bye weeks, as they will be off next week.

This week’s bye teams are the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Jets, and San Francisco 49ers. Yes, the entire AFC East is off this week. Not sure how often that happens, but there you go.

That’s all the NFL action for Week 11, folks! Feel free to come on in and discuss all of the action with your fellow Minnesota Vikings fans as we get ready for the main event this evening.
