We are less than ninety minutes away from kickoff at Soldier Field for Sunday Night Football, and that means that it’s time to take a look at the inactive lists. Both the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings have made their lists available, so let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out for both sides. As always, we start with the visiting team.
Minnesota Vikings
- LB Anthony Barr
- RB Mike Boone
- DE Tashawn Bower
- DL Jalyn Holmes
- TE David Morgan
- S Andrew Sendejo
- QB Kyle Sloter
Barr, who was listed as questionable on the final injury report, is apparently not ready to come back yet, and that’s a significant blow to the Vikings’ defense in this one with the way the Bears want to run the ball and use their tight ends. Both of the Vikings’ starting guards, Tom Compton and Mike Remmers, are active and it appears that the Vikings will have their starting offensive line intact for the first time in a while. Newly-acquired Ameer Abdullah is also active, and could see some time on kick returns this evening.
And now, on to the home team.
Chicago Bears
- FB Michael Burton
- CB Marcus Cooper
- OL Rashaad Coward
- LB Kylie Fitts
- WR Kevin White
- DE Nicholas Williams
- WR Javon Wims
Well, there aren’t any real surprises on the Bears’ inactive list. . .largely because they didn’t really have anyone listed as injured going into this one. But, those are their inactives.
That’s who will be sitting this one out for the Vikings and the Bears, ladies and gentlemen. The Open Thread for the first quarter of the play will be up at around 6:30 PM Central time.
