Good Morning!

It’s Thanksgiving for those of us in the United States. I realize that although a majority of DN’er’s are located in the US, not all of us are. Having spent this holiday deployed to countries that don’t understand the concept of Thanksgiving, follow along as we dine on turkey and football. While we’re waiting for the next Vikings game to start we’ll continue with our news and links full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Have another cup of coffee and drop by for some fan wisdom and snark. With that, let’s do this, Skol!

Around the DN since our last thread:

Chris has your Vikings initial injury report: Anthony Barr returns, however, Ben Gedeon is in concussion protocol

Ted writes that the NFL is just trolling the Vikings and their kicker situation.

Also from Ted, the loss to the Bears hindered the Vikings playoff standing.

Vikings news from other sources:

From Head Coach Mike Zimmer addressed the media from the TCO Performance Center on Wednesday.

Presser Points: Zimmer on thankfulness, prepping for Packers

Timeout with Trae Waynes.

From 1500espn Can we draw any conclusions from Cousins’ primetime record?

League news:

From Chase Daniel will start today for the Bears.

Redskins QB Colt McCoy can play his way into free agency.

Lamar Jackson says the Ravens will be throwing v the Raiders.

Eagles OC says it’s challenging to mix Golden Tate into the offense.

We come to today’s media selection: AC/DC - Highway to Hell

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the venison chili and as always, Welcome Aboard and Skol Vikings!
