Thanksgiving is here, folks, and that means that there’s NFL action on your television screens pretty much all day long! So, why not talk about it all here?
The first game is one that is of particular importance to fans of the Minnesota Vikings, as we get an all-NFC North matchup between the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions. The Bears come into this one without the services of starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, and it sure would be nice if the Lions could help the Vikings out a little bit after the Vikings’ stumble this past Sunday night, wouldn’t it?
That game is on CBS, and will kick off at 11:30 AM Central time.
To follow that up, we go to the other traditional home of Thanksgiving Day football, as the Washington Redskins travel to Jerryworld to take on the Dallas Cowboys. The Redskins have also lost their starting quarterback, Alex Smith, to a pretty awful leg injury, so Colt McCoy will step in for him the rest of the way. The winner of this one will likely have the inside track to an NFC East title.
That game will be on FOX, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 PM Central.
Then, in the nightcap, we get yet another NFC divisional matchup, this one in the NFC South. This one will feature the Atlanta Falcons and the New Orleans Saints. The Falcons might be pretty much out of the race at this point, but they’d still like to spoil things for their division rivals in any way they can.
That one will be on NBC, with kickoff set to take place at around 7:20 PM Central.
So, if you’re going to be watching the games anyway, why not come here and hang out with your fellow Vikings fans? Enjoy the action, everyone!
