Wide receiver Chad Beebe became a favorite of Minnesota Vikings fans following a strong preseason, and he was called up to the active roster just before the team’s bye week following an injury to Stefon Diggs. He’s made a few catches over the two games that he’s been healthy for, but it sounds like we shouldn’t expect to see him again anytime soon.
Hearing #Vikings WR Chad Beebe could miss multiple games with hamstring injury suffered in practice Wednesday. Wondering if Vikings might consider IR on him if feel injury could linger. If immediate roster spot sought, would seem TE Cole Hikutini could be candidate but we'll see.

Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer press is reporting that Beebe could miss multiple games with a hamstring injury. Beebe was not injured during last Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bears, but rather injured the hamstring in practice on Wednesday and did not practice on Thursday and Friday.
Tomasson also speculates that the Vikings could go so far as to place Beebe on injured reserve if they feel his injury is going to linger. As he points out, the Vikings could bring up tight end Cole Hikutini from the practice squad, given that they’re still rolling with only two tight ends due to the injury to David Morgan. If they wanted to add another wide receiver instead, they do also have speedster Jeff Badet on the practice squad as well.
If the Vikings want to make any of those moves before they take on the Green Bay Packers, they have limited time to make that happen. We’ll keep an eye on the transaction wire to see if anything happens.
