It’s the Weekend Edition!

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears Quinn Harris-USA TODAY Sports

Good Morning!

Words up here will be limited today as I’m working from my phone as a hotspot. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving and day off after. While we’re waiting for the next Vikings game to start we’ll continue with our news and links full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Have another cup of coffee and drop by for some fan wisdom and snark. With that, let’s do this.

Around the DN since our last thread:

From the Front Page writers, a spot to keep up with all the Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings news.

Chris reports former Vikings ST Sharrif Floyd has withdrawn his grievance against Vikings.

Vikings news from other sources:

At the ESPN NFC North blog Packers vs. Vikings: What’s gone wrong, what’s at stake in the rematch. (I posted Courtney Cronin’s tweet yesterday in the comments).

Matthew Coller at 1500espn tells us that LB Anthony Barr is set to return against the Packers and what can the Vikings offense take away from struggles vs. Bears?

League news:

Consistent with the weekend news and links I’ll post league news in the comments, these will be delayed until later this morning.

We come to today’s media selection: Jerry Burns - Uncensored (bad words yo)

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the venison chili and as always, Welcome Aboard and Skol Vikings!
