Randy Moss will receive his Hall of Fame ring at halftime on Sunday

Yet another honor for #84

NFL: Pro Football Hall of Fame-Enshrinement Ceremony Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Fans in attendance at U.S. Bank Stadium for tomorrow night’s big NFC North contest will get an extra, added treat at halftime.

At halftime of Sunday night’s game against the Green Bay Packers, former Minnesota Vikings’ great Randy Moss will officially be presented with his ring from the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Moss was enshrined in Canton in 2018, becoming the first wide receiver since Jerry Rice to be voted into the Hall in his first year of eligibility.

The ring will be presented to Moss by David Backer, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Unless I miss my guess, I’m assuming that none of the halftime ceremony will be televised for those of us not in attendance in Minneapolis to see. The Vikings have generally been pretty good about making these sorts of things available through social media channels or on their website, and if they do so with this ceremony we will find a way to share it with you.

Congratulations, one more time, to Randy Moss on being given his Pro Football Hall of Fame ring.
