Another video for your viewing pleasure as we get closer to tonight’s kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium between the Minnesota Vikings and the Green Bay Packers, and this one has a couple of NFL legends driving around Minneapolis, just talking about the good ol’ days.
.@BrettFavre & @johnnyrandle93 exemplified the Packers/Vikings rivalry.

On this afternoon drive, they relive their glory days. Cover 2 presented by @Hyundai. pic.twitter.com/Q99dhzyKIq
In what appears to be some sort of car advertisement. . .although it’s not really prominently mentioned in the video itself (save for a couple of shots of the car). . .we have former Vikings’ defensive tackle John Randle and former Packers (and Vikings) quarterback Brett Favre driving around the streets of Minneapolis, talking about the days when they faced each other on the football field.
The video is a little less than two minutes long, but it’s kind of fun to hear Randle and Favre talking about the past. Favre talks about how Randle would talk trash during their games (and Randle talks about how Favre was the only quarterback that would talk back), as well as the Vikings’ tackling dummies wearing #4 jerseys. . .as Randle says, “even if the Vikings were playing Tampa Bay or Detroit.”
It’s a fun little video, and hopefully everyone will get as much enjoyment out of it as I did.
