Thursday Night Football Discussion: New Orleans Saints at the Dallas Cowboys

The one where we talk about the Cowboys and Saints

NFL: Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening and Welcome Aboard!

Well, that was a satisfying win for the Vikings over the Packers last Sunday wasn’t it? I don’t like the late games because I’m on Eastern time and they typically finish around midnight. As much fun as last week was it’s time to put that game in the rear view mirror and start looking forward to the Vikings-Patriots game this weekend. However, before we can enjoy that we get treated to two potential playoff opponents tonight with the Saints visiting the Cowboys. Both teams are leading their respective division, although the Saints have a comfortable margin, at least for now. Sit back, crack open an adult beverage and let’s examine our two potential playoff rivals. I have no opinion on who wins tonight since I don’t have a player from from either side on my fantasy football team, but since I was a Cowboy fan when I was a kid....go Cowboys.

Also, GIF’s are welcome in this game thread, however within the rules as usual.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the macaroni and cheese and as always, Welcome Aboard and Skol Vikings!
