The Minnesota Vikings just announced their final injury report a few minutes ago, and things are looking better than they were a couple days ago:

OUT: Chad Beebe, David Morgan
QUESTIONABLE: Stefon Diggs, Xavier Rhodes, Mackensie Alexander, Brandon Zylstra
The official ‘questionable’ designation for both Xavier Rhodes and Stefon Diggs means there’s a decent chance they’ll play, and both were practicing in the portion of today’s practice that was open to the media:
#Vikings WR Stefon Diggs (knee) and CB Xavier Rhodes (hamstring) both had helmets and participated in the open portion of practice today, after sitting out the past two days. Good sign for both playing Sunday at #Patriots. pic.twitter.com/j9mU8owRPQ

Had either of Rhodes or Diggs not practiced, they probably wouldn’t have played, so this is a positive sign for both. For Rhodes, this is really encouraging news, as it appeared he had suffered a serious hamstring injury last Sunday Night against Green Bay. The Vikings won that game 24-17 to extend Minnesota’s unbeaten streak over the Packers to 701 consecutive days.
It’s now at 706. And counting.
The bad news is that WR Chad Beebe and TE David Morgan are out. With Diggs closer to playing, Beebe’s absence won’t be a huge deal, but Morgan has been missed. He’s developed into a really good blocking tight end, and the VIkings could really use him to try and get their running game going. That will have to wait at least another week.
