Stefon Diggs nominated for YouTube Ad of the Year Award

By now, you’ve almost certainly seen the commercial for Geico Insurance featuring Minnesota Vikings’ receiver Stefon Diggs. If you haven’t, or you just want to see it again, check it out.

Diggs has parlayed his Minneapolis Miracle catch. . .and the fact that he’s, you know, really good. . .into a little bit of national stardom with this ad, and now this specific ad has been nominated for the YouTube Ad of the Year Award.

The Diggs video is, specifically, nominated for the Ad That Makes Me Laugh Award, and is one of six nominees in that particular category. I’m not sure if I’ve seen all of the other ads in that particular category or not, but it’s my completely and totally unbiased opinion that the Diggs ad is clearly the best of the group and that everyone should vote for it.

If you want to vote for Stefon Diggs. . .and I’m not sure what, if anything, the winners receive. . .but you can go to the YouTube Ad of the Year page and find the video. From there, you just have to click on the “Vote for This Ad” button, and once the video starts hit the confirmation button next to the video.
