Rudolph sat down with Bruce Murray and Brady Quinn on SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday morning, and discussed the DeFilippo firing. The clip above is about two minutes long, and Rudolph addressed a few different things.
- He said that Mike Zimmer told the team about the move on Tuesday morning.
- Rudolph says he feels terrible for DeFilippo because he lost his job due to the fact that the offense didn’t execute as well as they needed to.
- The tension on the Vikings’ offense were “public” over the last month or so.
If you have SiriusXM radio, you can go back and listen to the entire interview on demand through the SiriusXM app. While the highlights tell you plenty, the entire interview is pretty worthwhile, too, if you can find it.
