There was a rare sight at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center on Thursday, as every single member of the Minnesota Vikings roster was practicing. Some of them were doing so in a limited capacity, but every single person on the Vikings’ roster was taking part in Thursday’s session.
That includes wide receiver Chad Beebe, who was limited in practice today with his hamstring issue. This is the first time that Beebe has participated in practice in any capacity since Week 12, and it’s not apparent if he’ll be back on Sunday against the Miami Dolphins or not, but it’s definitely progress.
In even better news, cornerback Trae Waynes appears to be out of the NFL’s concussion protocol, as he is listed as having full participation in Thursday’s practice. Waynes suffered a concussion against New England, his second of the year, and missed Monday’s game against Seattle.
In even better, better news, offensive tackle Brian O’Neill is back to being a full participant in practice, following a Wednesday session that saw him limited by an ankle injury. His reaction to the injury against Seattle was kind of ugly, so it’s a pleasant surprise to see him back fully participating for a big game on Sunday.
Here is the full accounting of the Vikings’ Thursday injury report:
Did not participate: Nobody!
Limited participation: WR Chad Beebe (hamstring), LB Eric Kendricks (rib), TE David Morgan (knee), G Mike Remmers (low back), DT Sheldon Richarson (hip)
Full participation: DT Jaleel Johnson (calf), OT Brian O’Neill (ankle), CB Xavier Rhodes (hip), WR Adam Thielen (ankle), CB Trae Waynes (concussion)
The teams will release their final injury reports on Friday, and we’ll have a full accounting of all of it when they’re available.
