Friday is injury report day across the National Football League, and this Sunday’s game at U.S. Bank Stadium between the Miami Dolphins and your Minnesota Vikings is no exception. Both teams have released their final injury reports, and we’re going to bring both of those to you here.
As always, we start with the visiting team.

A lot of players on the injury list for the Dolphins, but only two that were given an injury designation. One of those two is huge, though, and that’s cornerback Xavien Howard. Howard missed the Dolphins’ last game against New England and did not practice all week leading up to this one. He’s currently tied for the NFL lead in interceptions (7), and not having to deal with him in the Miami secondary would make things significantly easier on the Minnesota offense. . .or, at least, you’d think that.
The Dolphins’ starting quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, was limited in practice all week, but he’s going to start, denying us the opportunity to witness the Brock Osweiler Experience in person.
And now, on to the home team.

Chad Beebe did return to practice this week, but couldn’t do enough to prevent him from missing his fourth straight game with his hamstring issue. David Morgan, who has missed the previous four games for the Vikings, was limited in practice all week, and has been designated as questionable to make his return on Sunday.
Two other players for the Vikings are question marks leading into Sunday’s game, as both guard Mike Remmers (low back) and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson (hip) are questionable after being limited in practice all week. If I had to venture a guess, I would assume that both of them will be out there on Sunday, but it’s something that will require monitoring over the next couple of days. The rest of the players on the Vikings’ injury report were not given designations and were all full participants in Friday’s final practice session.
That’s a look at the injury reports for both sides going into Sunday’s big game. We’ll have more on this one for you as we get closer to kickoff.
