Which College Players Are Future Vikings? Bowl Week 1 Primer

Who should you be keeping an eye on as bowl season gets underway?

NCAA Football: Sugar Bowl-Alabama vs Clemson Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Another college football regular season is complete and now we move to he bowl games some of which have been played already. I think the final 4 teams is correct but I think there should be at least 8 teams as a minimum.

Logically, if Division II can have a 28 team playoff then so can Division I. The notion that Division I is unable to do this is preposterous. There were a few upsets but in the end all the #1 seeds made the quarter finals.

Obviously there is some money that is involved in this not being a larger playoff field and I suspect it has to do with fat people who work for the bowls and do nothing but get paid a lot.

Nevertheless, I am hoping for a Clemson vs Oklahoma final with Oklahoma winning it all.

Here are the bowl games for the next few days.
