Just twelve hours ago or so, we passed along word to everyone that the Minnesota Vikings were expecting wide receiver Stefon Diggs to be good to go for today’s big game against the New England Patriots. This morning, the same source that reported that news is reporting that things have taken a bit of a bad turn.
Vikings' WR Stefon Diggs' knee swelled overnight and he now needs to test it pregame to determine whether he can play today against the New England Patriots, per league source. Diggs back to being questionable today.

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Stefon Diggs’ knee swelled up overnight and that he will now need to test it during pregame warmups to see whether or not he’ll be able to go today.
Obviously, if Diggs is unable to play today, that changes things significantly for the Minnesota offense. It will mean that the Patriots will be able to slide a lot of their coverage towards Adam Thielen, and that the other members of the Vikings’ receiving corps are going to have to step up in a big way.
I’d talk about how this could, potentially, impact your fantasy football team, except hashtag nobody cares about your fantasy team.
We’ll obviously keep an eye on this situation. The inactive lists will come out right around 2:00 PM Central time, so we’ll know by then whether or not the Vikings will have one of their primary playmakers at their disposal.
