Good Morning!
Shoutout to Norsfan yesterday for dropping a Fanpost news and links yesterday. Both Gone Fishin and I were traveling and I think we each anticipated the other would do the thread. It’s Christmas morning here in the US, if you have small children in your home I hope they let you sleep past 0430 before waking you up with screams and screeches of delight. The tradition at our house when our kids were younger was that it was okay to get up early and get the stuff out of your stocking but they had to be quiet until my wife and I woke up. Let’s have a toast to “it was a nice idea in practice but never worked.” Hope your day is great, the food is perfect and guests leave early. While we’re waiting for the next Vikings game to start we’ll continue with our news and links full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Put those IKEA instructions away, have another cup of Irish coffee and drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and a virtual eggnog. With that, let’s do this, beat the Bears!

We come to today’s media selection: Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra - Christmas Hits
Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the country ham and as always, Welcome Aboard and Skol Vikings!
