It’s a very prestigious award

In the spirit of Christmas, we have some incredibly important Minnesota Vikings news to share with you.

Through what was no doubt a highly-scientific process, both tight end Kyle Rudolph and center Pat Elflein have been named to the NFL’s All-Christmas team.

Rudolph is in his eighth year with the Vikings, and true to his name led a “trip” to the North Pole this past week for Twin Cities children.

2nd Annual Rudy's Red Eye to the North Pole

WATCH & SHARE! Over the holidays the Rudolph family partnered with University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital to bring patients and families to the North Pole for a special night! #RudysRedEye - - - - Thank you to everyone who made the 2nd Annual Rudy's Red Eye possible! Rudolph is still also dominating the Walter Payton Man of the Year Challenge voting, but his vote total could always be increased.

Not to be outdone, Elflein did his part to get into the Christmas spirit by. . .how else. . .manning the “Elf Line” at the North Pole.

Good thing that the Vikings’ second-year center hasn’t been skipping elf practice, from the looks of things.

We want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season from everyone here at The Daily Norseman, and thank you for making us a part of your Minnesota Vikings routine.
