We are less than ninety minutes away from the biggest game of the year for your Minnesota Vikings, as they will host the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon at U.S. Bank Stadium. Both teams have released their inactive lists for today’s contest, so let’s take a look at who will be sitting out of this one.
As always, we start with the visiting team.
Chicago Bears
- TE Daniel Brown
- FB Michael Burton
- OL Rashaad Coward
- S Eddie Jackson
- LB Aaron Lynch
- WR Allen Robinson
- DT Nick Williams
Lynch didn’t even travel with the Bears to Minnesota, and was downgraded to “out” on Saturday. Jackson being out is huge for the Vikings, as he’s probably the Bears’ second-most important defensive player and one of the best safeties in the league this season.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings
- WR Chad Beebe
- DE Tashawn Bower
- FB C.J. Ham
- LB Eric Kendricks
- CB Xavier Rhodes
- CB/PR Marcus Sherels
- QB Kyle Sloter
The Vikings had declared Beebe, Ham, Kendricks, and Sherels as “out” on their final injury report on Friday. Rhodes tested his injured groin in pregame warmups, but it was determined that he was unable to go for this one. Holton Hill will get another start in his place. Not ideal, but we have to play the hand we’ve got.
There are your inactives for the season finale, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have the Open Thread for the first quarter up and running here shortly.
