Friday Open Thread: February 16th, 2018

Good Morning and hello Friday!

We’re in full off-season form with QB debates, mock drafts and crockpot recipes on the daily thread. I took Friday off and will be driving most of today from where I live to the Everglades. My wife did a 50k race through the Everglades last year and had so much fun she’s doing it again. This area of Florida was hit hard by the northwest wall of hurricane Irma, (that’s the side of the hurricane you don’t want to be on). I’m interested to see how the area has recovered and if I can figure out how to post pictures and I see anything interesting other than a bunch of alligators I’ll post them on the weekend thread. Speaking of the weekend thread, we’re going to continue it for the foreseeable future.

Spotrac calculates the values of this year’s FA QB per Chris, hint it’s a lot of money for a Tier 1 or 2 QB.

Fox will be televising the draft in 2018, no word on whether Joe Buck will make a guest appearance, I always watch and follow on mute anyway. If you’re a draft nut, I highly recommend MarkSP18’s draft day threads, we had a good time last year on those.

Chris ponders which position Mike Remmers should start next season, give it a read and vote in the poll while you’re there.

Cincinnati QB AJ McCarron won his grievance against the team and will be an unrestricted free agent, thus adding moar FA QB’s to the mix this year.
