Luft Krigare takes a look at Rick Spielman’s draft record

It’s time for all of us to really start getting prepared for the 2018 NFL Draft, and one of our own has put together an outstanding look at the track record of the Minnesota Vikings’ General Manager during his time running things for the purple.

Dave Stefano, who we refer to around here as Luft Krigare, has put together a pretty extensive look at Rick Spielman’s track record in the draft since becoming the team’s primary voice on draft weekend.

Dave’s Deep Dive (Pre-Draft Edition) breaks things down from just about every angle you can imagine. While it appears that Spielman has hit more than he’s missed on draft picks during his time as the Vikings’ GM, it isn’t all sunshine and rainbows on that front. . .some of the misses have been pretty significant.

The document comes out to 15 pages overall, so I obviously can’t go into everything that Dave concludes in this post. But, I wanted to give everyone an opportunity to download the document for themselves and discuss the findings. Dave is having some technical difficulties getting onto the site at the present time, but hopefully we’ll be able to get all of that cleared up here in fairly short order.
