By this time tomorrow, we might know where all of the Minnesota Vikings’ selections in the 2017 NFL Draft will be slotted.
According to our friends over at Vikings Territory, the National Football League is expected to announce the 32 Compensatory draft picks sometime on Friday, meaning that every team in the NFL will know where their selections are.
As we’ve been saying for quite some time, the Vikings are expected to gt two Compensatory selections in the 2018 NFL Draft, as the folks from Over the Cap have been projecting. They will get those selections to offset the losses of running back Adrian Peterson and wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, with both of those picks expected to be in the sixth round of the draft.
That will give the Vikings their full complement of seven selections. As things stand now, they only have five. They are currently without a fourth-round selection because of the Sam Bradford trade, and they are without a seventh-round pick because of the trade for Tramaine Brock. We know that their first three selections are at #30, #62, and #94 overall. The rest of their selections will depend on where all of the Compensatory picks fall.
If you want to see the full list of projected Compensatory draft picks, you can see them at Over the Cap. Here’s hoping that all of their projections are accurate.
