Rick Spielman, Mike Zimmer to speak at NFL Combine this week

New, comments

They probably won’t say much, but they’ll be talking

NFL: NFC Divisional Playoff-New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Though the on-field workout portion of the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine won’t get underway until Friday, there will be players making their way to Lucas Oil Stadium starting tomorrow for various testing and things of that nature. Over the course of this week, many NFL Coaches and General Managers will be taking to the podium to talk (in circles) about what plans each of their teams has for the 2018 NFL Draft and the offseason.

The Minnesota Vikings are no different, as both Mike Zimmer and Rick Spielman will be taking their turn to speak in Indianapolis. Granted, from everything we know about both guys, they’re probably not going to say a whole hell of a lot, but they’ll be there anyway.

Spielman will be the first of the two to take his turn, as he’ll be speaking at 10:30 AM Central time on Wednesday, 28 February. Zimmer will get his turn on Thursday, as he will speak at 10:15 AM Central time that morning.

If you’re anywhere near a television during those times, the NFL Network will be airing all of the press conferences on their channel.

Below, you’ll find a schedule of all of the coaches and GMs that will be speaking between Wednesday and Friday, and when. The times are all Eastern time, in deference to the many members of our SB Nation blog writing community that deign to live outside of the Central time zone.
