Good Morning and hello Thursday!

We’re in full off-season mode with the dollars flowing during free agency, mock drafts, smoker tips and crockpot recipes the rage on the daily thread. The whole “why did they pick that guy and guarantee all that money” debate is also the rage, I’m hoping with time it abates itself. I’m ready for the weekend, the draft and the start of OTA’s.

Around the DN since our last thread:
Courtesy of Chris you have your very own Vikings free agency tracker on the front page, the news that LB Anthony Barr’s 5th year option is now fully guaranteed, CB Tremaine Brock signed with the Broncos and the Vikings might get a compenstory pick, finally via Tom Pelissero the Vikings have reached out to the agent for Sheldon Richardson, 3 technique....make this one happen Ryck!

Vikings news from other sources:
At the Vikings homepage Wobby opens his pick 6 mailbag for reader questions.
From the lunch break series HC Mike Zimmer announces his second annual youth football camp. No word on when the over 50 camp is, unfortunately.
Wobby talked to Tom Pelissero about new Vikings QB Kirk Cousins strengths and style.
The NFL network’s Charley Casserly breaks down what Kirk Cousins does well.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up and tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the venison chili and as always, Welcome Aboard and Skol Vikings!
