So, we’re all aware that Kirk Cousins signed a contract on Thursday with the Minnesota Vikings that will make him the highest-paid player in the National Football League. Cousins, undoubtedly, had to get his family behind the idea, and it appears as though he’s done that as well.
Witness this video from Cousins’ Twitter account from after the signing.

That’s Cousins’ wife, Julie, and his ridiculously adorable son, Cooper. As you can see, Cooper already has the appropriate headgear, and apparently the first order of business is to get the youngster to learn how to do the “Skol” chant. Now, since Cooper isn’t quite six months old, he obviously can’t do it on his own, but Mom is there to help him out.
And damned if it isn’t just completely freaking adorable. He seems pretty happy with himself, all things considered.
Hopefully, everyone from the Cousins family. . .Julie, Cooper, aunts, uncles, cousins (the Cousins cousins?), grandparents, whoever. . .will have plenty of opportunities to perfect their “Skol” chant over the next three years. Maybe even beyond that, too.
