Friday Open Thread: March 2nd, 2018

Good Morning and hello Friday!
We’re in full off-season form with QB debates, mock drafts, smoker tips and crockpot recipes the rage on the daily thread. The combine is going on through the weekend so we finally have something else to talk about. Not much going on at my house this weekend, although the mrs. dropped a hint about painting some rooms, I think I’ll hide somewhere until she’s done. What’s going on at your house this weekend?

Chris brings us the news that Kirk Cousins is “destined” to become a Viking and he’s reportedly looking to sign a shorter contract. HC Mike Zimmer addressed the media and said he doesn’t want the pending QB contract to hamper the rest of the team, GM Rick Spielman also addressed the media per his usual remarks said everything and nothing, but it sounds like Rick’s son is playing well at Nebraska.

At Vikings.com they have the full video of HC Mike Zimmer’s media address, Wobby talked to ESPN reporter Field Yates who says the Vikings have everything in place besides a QB and Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero break down the Vikings future at QB.
