Let’s talk about Tom Compton’s REAL claim to fame

He is, apparently, a master thespian

Offensive lineman Tom Compton, the newest member of the Minnesota Vikings, has had a solid NFL career. He’s been in the league for six seasons, has gone to a Super Bowl as a member of the Atlanta Falcons, and is apparently best friends with the newly-minted highest-paid player in the National Football League.

But, let’s talk for a moment about Compton’s real claim to fame.

Yes, as it turns out, Compton is a bit of a thespian, and as a matter of fact appeared in one of the great cinematic masterpieces of our time. . .or any other time, if we’re being honest with ourselves.

The following is a (bad) clip of Compton’s turn in the movie Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, where he played the part of. . .”Reporter.”

(Seriously, “Reporter?” They couldn’t even give dude a name?)

(Hat tip to The Argus Leader for the clip.)

Seriously, though, that is Tom Compton. He even has an IMDB credit for appearing in the film. So, that’s pretty cool.

I actually enjoy the Sharknado movies, myself, and had no idea that one of the guys in one of the movies could potentially be a member of the Minnesota Vikings.

So, now that’s something you know.
