Hi kids. Mock drafts are starting to become a thing for me, I guess. Tom Downey of Chat Sports asked me to represent the Minnesota Vikings as one of 32 bloggers/reporters for NFL teams when they conducted their first round only mock draft this past Monday, and I was happy to oblige.
There were no trades, so it was kind of cool to see how the draft played out for me. In a sense, it was the most realistic mock I’ve seen, because you had 32 different people making a selection for their team. And like in the real draft, there were a few surprise picks ahead of me, and there were some guys available at positons the Vikes don’t really need that I thought would have been long gone.
