With the NFL having already released the preseason schedule as a bit of an appetizer, the main course appears to be coming soon.

The league has announced that they will be revealing the 2018 regular season schedule a little less than 48 hours from now, at 7:00 PM Central time on Thursday, 19 April.

Rumors have been swirling that the Minnesota Vikings would be opening the season on Thursday Night Football this year, but nothing has really been substantiated on that front to this point. It doesn’t appear that we’ll have to wait much longer to find out.

In light of this, let’s take a look at who the Vikings’ opponents will be in 2018. They are matched up against the AFC East and the NFC West this season, as well as their home-and-home series against each of their NFC North rivals.

Home Games: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints

Road Games: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Rams, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles

As soon as the 2018 schedule comes out, we will have it right here for you. . .and you can be certain that there will probably be some leaks, both accurate and not, between now and then as well.
