Rick Spielman, after almost three rounds of inactivity, has finally made his first trade of the 2018 NFL Draft, swinging a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Vikings have sent their third round pick, #94 overall, to the Buccaneers. In exchange, the Vikings have received pick #102, which is the second pick in tomorrow’s fourth round, and pick #180 overall, which is a sixth round selection.
This means that Day 2 of the 2018 NFL Draft is over for the Minnesota Vikings. It’s going to be a busy Day 3 for the Vikings, however, as they now have seven picks on the draft’s final day, including a whopping four in the sixth round.
The Vikings’ remaining picks are as follows:
- Round 4, Pick #2 (Pick #102 overall, from Tampa Bay)
- Round 5, Pick #30 (Pick #167 overall)
- Round 6, Pick #6 (Pick #180 overall, from Tampa Bay)
- Round 6, Pick #30 (Pick #204 overall)
- Round 6, Pick #39 (Pick #213 overall, Compensatory selection)
- Round 6, Pick #44 (Pick #218 overall, Compensatory selection)
- Round 7, Pick #7 (Pick #225 overall, from Denver)
