Rick Spielman, after almost three rounds of inactivity, has finally made his first trade of the 2018 NFL Draft, swinging a deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Vikings have sent their third round pick, #94 overall, to the Buccaneers. In exchange, the Vikings have received pick #102, which is the second pick in tomorrow’s fourth round, and pick #180 overall, which is a sixth round selection.

This means that Day 2 of the 2018 NFL Draft is over for the Minnesota Vikings. It’s going to be a busy Day 3 for the Vikings, however, as they now have seven picks on the draft’s final day, including a whopping four in the sixth round.

The Vikings’ remaining picks are as follows:

  • Round 4, Pick #2 (Pick #102 overall, from Tampa Bay)
  • Round 5, Pick #30 (Pick #167 overall)
  • Round 6, Pick #6 (Pick #180 overall, from Tampa Bay)
  • Round 6, Pick #30 (Pick #204 overall)
  • Round 6, Pick #39 (Pick #213 overall, Compensatory selection)
  • Round 6, Pick #44 (Pick #218 overall, Compensatory selection)
  • Round 7, Pick #7 (Pick #225 overall, from Denver)

We’ll be back here for Day 3 of the 2018 NFL Draft and everything that the Minnesota Vikings do, as well as more talk about what they’ve done so far. Enjoy the rest of your evening, ladies and gentlemen!
