With the 2018 NFL Draft officially in the rear view mirror, the NFL Network. . .like a lot of us. . .are looking for things to talk about, and they’ve given us something on Monday night with the start of their annual “Top 100” series. This goes over the Top 100 players of this past season, and is voted on by the players themselves.
The first member of the Minnesota Vikings to appear on this year’s list is a guy that wasn’t even a Viking last season, and that’s quarterback Kirk Cousins.
At #94, it's the @Vikings new QB @KirkCousins8!#NFLTop100 pic.twitter.com/eXd7pgjHDP

Cousins checks in at #94 on this year’s list, following a season that saw him complete 64.3% of his passes for 4,093 yards and 27 touchdown passes.
Given his new surroundings and some of the weapons he’s going to have at his disposal in 2018, I’m going to go way out on a limb and declare that, barring some sort of injury, Cousins is going to be significantly higher on next season’s list than he was on this one. Am I biased? Sure.
Am I wrong? Probably not.
We’ll be keeping tabs on who makes the list from our favorite football team. With the league’s #1 defense plus some prolific names on the offensive side of the ball, you’d think that there would be no shortage of purple on this year’s list.
