It’s Thorsday!

NFL: NFC Divisional Playoff-New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Good Morning!

It’s Thorsday and we’re one day closer to the weekend and the draft! The rain has finally started where I live which is nice and I have that going for me. The Masters starts for real today, as some of you have indicated you follow golf I’ll look around for some golf tweets and post a link to leaderboard in the words below.

Around the DN since our last thread:

Courtesy of Chris, Ted and Eric you have your very own Vikings free agency tracker on the front page, I’m leaving this here until the end of free agency.

Chris posted Day 10 of the DN mock draft, Chucky um Oakland, you’re on the clock.

Ted continues to mock us all with his latest mock draft Ted 3.0 Mock Harder with a Vengeance.

Vikings news from other sources and news from around the league:

From the Vikings homepage, Wobby posts his most recent pick six mailbag.

Mock madness 5.0 with a compilation of expert picks in the first round for the Vikings.

The sideline footage that captured the Minneapolis Miracle has been nominated for a Webby award, to vote go here.

From their lunch break series, the NFC North could be the most fascinating division to watch.

New Viking Kendall Wright is excited for the Vikings culture and having the opportunity to play with Kirk Cousins.

At ESPN draft guru’s Kiper and McShay agree on the position of the Vikings first round selection but disagree about the second round.

From 1500espn they compare new QB Kirk Cousins receivers from 2016 to the receivers he’ll be throwing to this season.

We come to today’s media selection: Speaking of the Minneapolis Miracle, here’s Michael Strahan.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up and tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the venison chili and as always, Welcome Aboard and Skol Vikings!
