Stefon Diggs checks in at #65 on the NFL Network Top 100

He’s the third Viking to make the list

After having two players on the list in the first episode of the show, the Minnesota Vikings have gotten a bit of a break on the NFL Network Top 100 list. That ended tonight, as the third member of the purple made his way onto the list.

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs is the next member of our favorite football team to make the list, as he checks in at #65.

Diggs had what might have been his best season in 2017, setting a career high in touchdown catches with eight. He also nearly eclipsed his best season-long receiving yardage total despite having 20 fewer receptions than he did in 2016. Diggs had 84 catches for 903 yards in 2016, but had 64 receptions for 849 yards in 2017.

Diggs did all of this despite missing a couple of games with injuries, though the 14 games he played in 2017 are the most he’s played in any of his three seasons in the NFL.

Oh, you know who likes that?

Kirk Cousins likes that, and promises to get Diggs even higher up on the list next season. If Diggs can stay healthy, that sounds like a pretty solid bet to me.

It’s going to be interesting to see which other Vikings make the list. The Vikings are, reportedly, tied for the most players on the list with the Los Angeles Rams, though nobody is sure how many that is.

You can be sure, however, that when any other Vikings make this year’s list, we’ll be telling you all about it right here.
