While fans of professional sports can disagree on whether or not a particular athlete is a “star” or a “superstar,” one sure-fire gauge for determining whether or not an athlete has “made it” is when they get their own bobblehead doll. That’s the case for Minnesota Vikings’ wide receiver Adam Thielen, who over the past few years has risen from the practice squad to NFL stardom.

Thielen now has his own bobblehead. . .or, to be more accurate, bobbleheads.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has announced that they have just commissioned two new bobblehead dolls of the man that put up the first 1,000-yard receiving season for the Minnesota Vikings since 2009. You can see the one from the main picture that shows Thielen as many of us recognize him, in his #19 Vikings uniform.

In addition to that one, there’s a version that folks closer to home might appreciate, as it depicts Thielen in the uniform of his college squad, the mighty Minnesota State University Mavericks.

Gotta love that color scheme, eh?

The dolls are on sale only through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, at a price of $40 each or $75 for the pair. That link will take you directly to the page for the Thielen dolls.

Congratulations to Adam Thielen on being immortalized in bobblehead form by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
