Every year, the game show Family Feud has some celebrity-themed episodes, and at least a couple of them usually involve NFL players. It appears that one of the more prominent members of the Minnesota Vikings is going to be on this year’s version of Celebrity Family Feud, though we don’t have any sort of air dates or anything yet.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defensive tackle Gerald McCoy posted this picture to his Instagram earlier today, and it depicts McCoy and four other NFL players on the set of Family Feud. Diggs is just to McCoy’s left, and next to him appears to be Cleveland Browns’ quarterback Tyrod Taylor, San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Arik Armstead, and Detroit Lions’ running back LeGarrette Blount.
Now, if memory serves me correctly, the teams on the NFL-themed shows in the past have been aligned by offense vs defense (usually AFC Offense vs NFC Defense and vice versa). I don’t know if they’ve scrapped that based on the picture above or if a few of the players involved just decided they wanted to get a picture together.
Celebrity Family Feud usually airs during the late June/early July time frame, so I’m guessing more details are going to emerge as we get closer to that time. However, it appears that we’re going to get to see another member of the purple attempting to win money for charity.
