Good Morning!

I hope your weekend is going great whether you’re working, fishing, or doing absolutely nothing. WE have OTA’s to talk about along with league news, have another cup of coffee and drop by for some fan wisdom and snark. We’re not doing anything special this weekend other than working in the yard prior to the arrival of Alberto. I’ll be here on and off all weekend and mostly likely I’ll be working at least half a day Monday. Reminder-As far as the NFL’s anthem stance, go talk about it somewhere else, anything posted about it will get deleted, repeated postings will result in your inability to comment.

Around the DN since our last thread:

From Chris, WR Stefon Diggs is going to be on celebrity version of Family Feud, once we find out an air date it will get posted.

Also from Chris, Adam Thielen immortalized with not one, but two bobbleheads.

Wludford has some OTA tidbits.

Vikings news from other sources and news around the league:

From Vikings.com their lunch break series, the Vikings defensive line is listed among the top defensive lines in the NFL.

Highlights from OTA number one, OTA number two, and OTA number three.

NFL Network’s Charley Casserly highlights five 2017 rookies who could have breakout seasons in 2018....hint Dalvin Cook.

TE David Morgan talked with Mike Wobschall after OTA No. 3 to talk about the first week of offense vs. defense and more.

Vikings WR Brandon Zylstra talked with Mike Wobschall to share his thoughts on week one of OTAs, his path to the Vikings and differences at the NFL level.

K Kai Forbath addressed the media after OTA No. 2. “Forbath: I’ve never lost a competition and won’t shy away from this one,

Consistent with the weekend thread, I’ll post stuff from the league in the comments section Saturday and Sunday.

We come to today’s media selection: Cheap Trick-Gonna Raise Hell

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up and tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the venison chili and as always, Welcome Aboard and Skol Vikings!
