Kirk Cousins may have picked the wrong neighborhood

The football uniforms for the local high school? Not good.

It sounds like new Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins has found a place to live in the Twin Cities and is settling into his new neighborhood. I would assume that there are a lot of things that he likes about the place, but there’s definitely one that he does not.

Cousins posted the following picture to his Instagram the other day:

That is the helmet worn by the football team at Rosemount High School, which is apparently the high school in the area where Cousins and his family have settled down. It looks remarkably similar to the helmet of the Michigan Wolverines. As we know, Cousins went to Michigan State University, and the Spartans and Wolverines are pretty significant rivals, as you would imagine.

(It’s also worth noting that Cousins was undefeated against Michigan in his Michigan State career, leading the Spartans to victory in 2009, 2010, and 2011.)

According to the story from Bring Me the News, Rosemount head coach Jeff Erdmann says that he’s very much looking forward to working with Cousins’ son, Cooper. Given the fact that young Cooper has not yet celebrated his first birthday. . .he was born in September of 2017. . .either Coach Erdmann is counting on having some pretty serious job security and/or Cousins and his family truly settling in Minnesota for the long haul.

Of course, if Cousins would like to get Rosemount to change their uniforms, he certainly has the disposable income lying around to help facilitate that.
