NFL Network to air Vikings’ first two preseason games live

So we’ve got that going for us. Which is nice.

The first preseason game for the Minnesota Vikings is less than one month away. Everyone in the Twin Cities market will get to see the preseason games live on television, but we’ve just learned that those of us outside that area will get to see some live preseason action as well.

The NFL Network has released their list of 15 preseason games that they will be airing live, and among them are the Vikings’ first two preseason contests. Unfortunately, neither of them are the All-Important Third Preseason Game™, but hey. . .two is better than zero, am I right?

The first game the Vikings play this preseason will be the Case Keenum Revenge Game (although not really) when the Vikings travel to the Mile High City to take on the Denver Broncos. That game will be shown on Saturday, 11 August at 8:00 PM Central time.

We’ll also be able to watch the preseason battle between what might be the two best defenses in the NFL, as the Vikings will host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2 action. That game will take place on Saturday, 18 August and will kick off at noon Central time.

The full list of live NFL Network games can be seen below. All times listed below are Eastern time.

In addition to those games, the NFL Network will show replays of every exhibition game throughout the preseason. I haven’t seen a schedule for those replays yet, but when one is released we will have that information for you here.
