Weekend Open Thread: July 21st and 22nd, 2018

Good Morning!

Hope you’re having a great weekend with fishing, camping or doing absolutely nothing. Training camp is one day closer, in the meantime we’ll plod along with out weekend thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crockpot and smoker recipes. Training camp is right around the corner, our drought of off-season sadness ends soon.

Around the DN since our last thread:

Eric gives us a Vikings Training Camp preview and causes for concern, strange I don’t remember any comments to that matter during the off-season.

In the Welcome Aboard new guy category, Lucas postulates QB Kirk Cousins will thrive with offense due to a better supporting cast.

USA Today projects the Vikings win/loss record at 12-4 per Chris, they projected 9-7 last year so I don’t know how much I’m going to listen to them.
